Aesthetic Leg Workout

With Summer just around the corner, the shorts come out and more people start to discuss training legs! A bodybuilding trend which shows no sign of slowing is the aesthetic movement.  For those of you who aren't familiar with the aesthetic trend, it is more about a lean, cut physique as demonstrated in the Mens Physique category. Lee malone of #TeamBodybuildingWarehouse is a great example of this shape and he has put together a workout designed to build your leg mass whilst maintaining that lean aesthetic look.

If you would like to give it a try yourself, the routine is as follows;

The workout  leg workout 1

leg extensions- 3 sets x 20 reps

leg press- 60 reps x 2


Squats 20 reps x 2

barbell lunges 2 sets x 15 reps

seated calf raises 3 sets x 15 reps (controlling the negative)

standing calf raises

3 sets x 15 reps
