We looked at the nutritional information in the classic burger and chips and had a bash at creating a healthier option for you to try whilst on your body transformation.  The fast food burger and chips may not involve any cooking effort but take a look at  the difference in saturated fat, cholesterol and carbohydrates. The protein content in both options is great but dont let that be your excuse to stop at the drive through on the way home. SPINACH BEEF BURGER AND SWEET POTATO CHIPS

 

bbw transformWHAT YOU NEED

x1 Sweet Potato

x1 Pepper

x1 Small Red Onion

Rapeseed Oil

200g Extra Lean Beef Mince

Spinach leaves

Seasoning: Garlic, Coriander and Chilli Flakes

 

 

HOW ITS DONE

 

Chop 1 x sweet potato up unto small cubes, chop a pepper and a small red onion up. slight drizzle of rapeseed oil in baking tray and put them in the over on 200C for 20 mins.

Blend together 200g extra lean beef mince with spinach leaves and add seasoning, I added garlic, coriander and chilli flakes. - Bind with an egg yolk if necessary. I then put them in a non stick frying pan on a medium heat for about 10-12 minutes or until cooked :)

Served with cherry toms :)
