Last Thursday I met with my fellow Bodybuilding Warehouse sponsored athlete and UKBFF 2013 British 2nd place champ Nathan Robinson for a massive shoulder workout!
Nathan and I have been working closely during the off season in prep for the up and coming shows in 2014, I personally can’t wait to step on stage again in May to compete in the tall Men’s Physique class and I know Nathan is just as excited and focused for his up and coming shows too.
For our workout we decided to focus on delts as it’s a weak area of mine which I have been working on since my show and boy did we hit them hard! Below is the workout and to have a watch just click here. Give it a try and keep the rest periods very short to keep intensity high and muscles under tension. In terms of supplements, we used Warrior rage as a Pre-workout and our Pure Whey 80 samples for post!
Rotator cuff warm up (10 mins)
Dumbbell Press (2 light sets to warm up)
Dumbbell Press - 3 sets x 12 reps
Standing side lat raises – 3 sets x 12 reps
Seated machine press (facing inward) superset with face pulls - 3 sets x 12 reps
Rear delt rows- 3 sets x 12 reps
Up right rows- 3 sets x 12 reps
Seated side lat rasies- 3 sets x 12 reps
Machine press (FST-7) - 7 sets x 12 reps
Plate raises- 3 sets x 12 reps
