This amazing high protein chocolate cake recipe is a brilliant alternative for you to try so that you can curb that sweet tooth a little longer. Read on to find out how it's not only guilt free but packed full of nutrients that contribute to your health!

What you need:

✔ 1 tbsp Butter
✔ 1 tbsp Cocoa Powder (Unsweetened if available)
✔ 2 scoops Chocolate Protein Powder
 4 oz (1/2 cup) Dark Chocolate Chips
✔ 1 can Chickpeas, rinsed and drained
✔ 4 Eggs
✔ 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
✔ 1/4 cup Sugar (or Sweetener!)
✔ 1/4 cup Honey
✔ 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
✔ 1/4 tsp Salt

What you need to do:

✔ First off, ensure that you preheat your oven to 180 degrees so that it's all prepped ready for your delicious chocolate cake mix.
✔ Begin by greasing the interior of 1 lb loaf pan with butter.
✔ With your Cocoa dust surface and gently tap the excess off.
✔ Now you can grab your Beans, Eggs and Vanilla and throw them into a food processor where you can then puree until smooth,
✔ To your mix. add Sugar, Honey, Pure Whey 80 Protein Powder, Baking Powder and Salt. Give it few quick pulses just to make sure its all combined.
✔ Now you can take your chocolate chips and begin to melt them by microwaving in a glass (microwave safe) bowl in 30 second intervals, stirring between sessions. It's very important that you only do this 30 seconds at a time as chocolate can burn very easily and you definitely don't want burnt chocolate!
✔ Add the melted chocolate to your chickpea mixture and blend thoroughly in the food processor.
✔ Now that all of your ingredients are combined you can begin to pour your mix into your already prepared loaf pan and cook for approximately 1 hour.
✔ Let cool for 20 minutes on a wire rack before removing from loaf pan.
✔ Enjoy!!
