A simple, Delicious Chocolate Macaroon Protein Muffins recipe to try at home.
These are such an amazing baked protein snack, using performance protein they are light, fluffy and a super post workout recovery option.
2 scoops Whole Scottish Oats
1 tsp baking powder
Optional mashed banana (higher carb recipe) Dash of water
3. Add in the optional mashed banana, or dash of water to create a lovely cake mixture. You may need a little more or slightly less water to the mixture depending on the oats that you use.
4. Next using a hand blender, blend all the mixture together. This will reduce the oats and give a really nice fluffy texture to your baked cakes.
5. Split your mixture into 6 silicone muffin cases and pop in the oven at around 160degrees. I like to use a lower heat and keep an eye on them for around 12-15 minutes.
6. When the muffins are firm to the touch, remove from the oven and allow to cool.
7. Enjoy post workout.
