Micellar Casein is made by separating the casein portion of milk, from the lactose, fat and whey via microfiltration. This gentle process means that Micellar Casein is naturally undenatured and is full of useful sub-fractions and growth factors that have been linked to a reduction in muscle catabolism, and increased blood plasma amino acid levels. Milk Protein Concentrate is added because it is naturally high in Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAA's) and has an excellent overall amino acid profile. I take one heaped scoop of this in a pint of fat free milk as my night time protein fix. Mixes really well even with just a fork and is lighter than you would expect.
Ive tried all the flavours exept the chocolate, the strawberry and vanilla are great, the chocolate orange and cappucinno are not as tasty as they sound, but thats only my opinion.
Even though its fairly priced I do think it could be put out a little cheaper, as your likely to get through a 900g tub pretty quick.(Posted on 04/05/2012)
