Protein is an essential nutrient to the body. As well as aiding repairs to skin and body generally, it is vital for repair and growth of muscle tissue.
‘Bulking Up’ requires far more protein than most people can get from their normal diet. Supplementation is therefore required in addition to normal meals. Protein drinks should be taken daily between normal meals. It is also advisable to increase carbohydrates when supplementing with protein as this helps with absorption, as well as providing energy resources.
90+ Protein has a hight percentage of protein with less than 2% Fat, has all the essential and nonessential amino acids and has been re-formulated with Micellar Casein. The combination of Micellar Casein and Whey ensure that you have a rapid yet prolonged release of protein into your body.
90+ is perfect for serious body builders, strength athletes and those on high protein diets.

- Review by Matt Best protein powder there is
-
Price:Value:Quality:
You can't go wrong with this protein. 43g of protein in a 50g serving is amazing, not just full of sugar like most other proteins. The taste isn't amazing but for the protein content and the price it is definitely worth it. I've had chocolate and strawberry. Chocolate tastes a lot better. Would recommend to anyone

Yes it grainy, but I have to say it does the job. With the price, amino acids and protein content I can't fault it

Seriously don't know how anyone can say this tastes bad or mixes bad! Who actually mixes protein with a fork?? I used a shaker with wire ball and it mixed fine. Tastes great. At this price I won't be buying any other protein powder. Also delivery was free and it came the next day!! 10/10 for service and product!!!

It is a bit grainy, but tastes alright. I use a bottle with a metal ball inside, it mixes pretty well like this. Better than others that I've tried!!
This is the first time I've ever bought protein so I'll report back at a later date.(Posted on 08/04/2013)
- Review by Dan Incredible Value for Money
-
Price:Value:Quality:
If you're a sissy and want your protein shake to taste like heaven, go and waste your hard earned money on extortionately priced Maximusle. If you want possibly the highest protein to weight ratio on the market, this product is for you. No, it doesn't taste particularly nice, but at 86g protein per 100g powder, this has to be the best value protein powder I've seen.
"Hi Dan thanks for the review, try adding something such as cinnamon or orange flavouring to adjust the taste of the shake. For any other advice please email us on advice@bodybuildingwarehouse.co.uk"(Posted on 24/01/2013)
- Review by Edward Awful old style protein powder

Price:Value:Quality:
The same as another reviewer, I bought this as BBW's own 4KG whey protein tubs were out of stock so I needed a vanilla substitute which I use to mix into my porridge for breakfast. However, this mixed with the consistency of wallpaper paste and as it contains pea fibre as a stabiliser it has a very bad aroma and just as bad of a taste. I used it until BBW brought out their new, and great, 5KG performance protein tubs, but it was tough getting through breakfast each morning with this in it. I will now keep the half I have left as a poor replacement if I run out of anything else - that's all it's good for.
It so much reminds me of the awful whey proteins that were the only thing available in the 1990's. Thankfully those days are past.(Posted on 10/11/2012)
- Review by Richie Poor Quality

Price:Value:Quality:
I purchased this due the BBW Premium Whey being out of stock. Thoroughly disappointed with this product. 1. It doesn't mix with a fork, 2. The chocolate flavour is disgusting 3. I find it completely undigestible - whether this product is touted as being lactose free - I don't know. Thoroughly disappointed - waste of a very hard earned £50.
BBW Hi Richie we are sorry to hear that this products wasn't to your taste, we have got BBW's Perfromance Protein in three flavours now available on line. We are sure you'll love it, we've had some great reviews.(Posted on 20/10/2012)
- Review by Daniel Great value protein!

Awesome value for money if you want a cheap source of protein, other powders mix better and don't taste as grainy but cost twice as much in some cases!

Value:Quality:Price:
43g of Protein in a 50g serving !!!
Anyone who has done maths at school knows that this is 86g a serving !
this means you have been fiddled out of 180g of protein in a 4.5kg tub.
Not much but if you're serious about your training, that's a kick in the nuts !!
BBW Reply:
We are sorry that you are less than happy with this product. Please be aware that Bodybuilding Warehouse cannot be held responsible for other Company(s) packaging. We do state the nutritional information on our website and it does state the protein content for this product being 43g per serving.(Posted on 23/05/2012)
