If you are looking for a recipe to curb those sweet cravings, give these apple and blueberry protein brownies a try.

As with all my recipes you can remove, add or tweak the ingredients and their amounts to fit your own personal dietary requirements, for example for less fat reduce the whole eggs down to 1 or even none at all.

Ingredients
130g oat flour/oats
1/2tbsp cinnamon
2 scoops of PURE 80 Whey (milk chocolate flavour)
4tbsp of cocoa
4tbsp Splenda/sweetener
2 whole eggs
3 egg whites
2 jars of apple and blueberry baby food
100g – 150g blueberries

protein brownie

Step 1
If you don’t have oat flour simply blend 130g of oats until a flour consistency. Add all the dry ingredients – 130g oat flour, 1/2 tbsp. cinnamon, 2 scoops of PURE 80 Whey (milk chocolate flavour), 4tbsp of cocoa and 4tbsp Splenda/sweetener. Then mix together using a whisk.

Step 2
Add all the wet ingredients to the bowl- 2 whole eggs, 3 egg whites and 2 jars of apple and blueberry baby food then whisk again until it’s an even thick consistency.

Step 3
Add 100g – 150g blueberries and pour the mix into a baking tray or brownie tray and put into a pre heated oven at 200c for 15 – 20 minutes so that the brownie is crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. Once its cooled down you can cut into slices and freeze the remaining portions and eat as you go.
